Paul Tevis
Principal at Vigemus Consulting, LLC
Paul Tevis found his passion for coaching and facilitation in an unusual place – software development. Paul began his career as a software engineer, where he realized the most difficult problems to solve were not technical ones. The real challenges he saw arose from the question of how groups could work together effectively. Through his work on Lean and Agile processes, he discovered and fell in love with coaching and facilitation.
Paul partners with leaders and groups to help them navigate change, particularly around issues of leadership, strategy, and culture. He focuses on building clients' own capacity to address their current and future challenges in these areas. Paul has trained extensively as an executive coach and as a facilitator. He is an Organization and Relationship Systems Certified Coach (ORSCC). He is also an experienced improviser and a member of the Applied Improvisation Network, a worldwide organization devoted to bringing the collaborative tenets of theatrical improvisation from the performance stage to the larger world. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Philosophy from Rice University in Houston, TX.
