Jordan Namerow
Feminist writer, and strategic communications professional
Jordan Namerow is a facilitator, feminist writer, and strategic communications professional. With more than 15 years of experience in the non-profit industry, she is passionate about helping teams and leaders deepen their impact at the nexus of storytelling and social change. Much of her work centers on helping women, girls, and LGBTQ people elevate their voices and claim their power to make the world more equitable for everyone.
Prior to founding Jordan Namerow Communications, Jordan held several leadership positions at American Jewish World Service (AJWS) — an international development organization that has invested more than $390 million in social justice and human rights efforts in the developing world.
Jordan earned a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Women’s Studies from Wellesley College and a Master’s in Strategic Communications from Columbia University. She received an Executive Certificate in Facilitation from Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership and was awarded the Schusterman Fellowship for Jewish leaders.
Jordan has appeared on NPR’s program “On Point” and her writing has been published in The Washington Post, JTA, and other media outlets. She has also been a guest lecturer at several colleges and universities. Jordan lives in Boston with her wife, son, and pup.
